Asociación Clúster de Telecomunicaciones
GAIA is the Association of Industries for Electronic and Information Technologies in the Basque country (North of Spain), a non-profit, private and professional entity, created in 1983, which currently comprises 170 companies which offer products and services in electronic, IT and telecommunications fields located in this region.
GAIA is governed by the companies in the sector via the Board of Directors. It also has Works Committees where necessary actions for the positive development of companies in the sector, the association and the socio-economic unit which surrounds us, are reflected and agreed upon.
GAIA, acting on behalf of its associate companies, has an extensive network of collaborators and technical-commercial agreements in many countries, coordinating the search for potential members, the participation in international projects, the creation of commercial networks and the sharing and transfer of technology.
